1675 GMT Pepsi

A Timeless Classic

Produced from 1959 until 1980, this has to be the most iconic and well known Rolex GMT. Especially when sporting a classic pepsi insert. This GMT was very popular among pilots and travelers for its ability to track two time zones.

This build was made entirely using Raffles parts and an Alix 2836 GMT movement on which a date wheel overlay was applied. The case has been modified by grinding down and polishing the crown guards. This gives the case a more complete and gen-like feel.

For this particular build, the customer asked for a NOS (New Old Stock) look. I barely touched the insert and left the lume a nice eggshell white before applying a very tiny amount of texture to the dial. To finish it all we went with a classic hollow link Jubilee bracelet.
